The Opportunity

We’re on the hunt for an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong grasp of the media and entertainment space—someone who’s confident building partnerships with agencies and brands, and ready to help drive SUMO’s next stage of growth.

SUMO is a specialist recruitment agency working across influencer marketing, talent management, and the creator economy. In this role, you’ll work across all areas of the business, building relationships with agencies whose services align with ours and helping them connect with the best talent in the industry.

You’ll need a deep understanding of how our services work—and the ability to communicate them in a way that resonates. This is a commercial, outward-facing role, where you’ll introduce SUMO to new partners, collaborate with internal and third-party teams, and spot revenue opportunities before they land in our inbox. Experience in a similar role—whether that’s with a media agency, publisher, platform, or another recruitment business—is a must.

If you’re passionate about content creators and celebrities, connecting talent management professionals with opportunities, and living and breathing all things talent, this could be the role for you.

SUMO is a specialist recruitment agency working across influencer marketing, talent management, and the creator economy. As a Resourcer, you’ll be right at the heart of our work—sourcing incredible candidates, and helping us place talent across the entertainment and media space.

You’ll need to be an excellent communicator, and highly organised. Prior experience in a resourcing or recruitment support role would be ideal, but if you’ve got the drive to learn, we want to hear from you.

The Opportunity

SUMO’s Influencer Marketing division is growing—and we’re looking for a proactive Resourcer to help us source the brightest talent in the game. If you know your TikTokers from your YouTubers, love staying ahead of social trends, and have a sharp eye for spotting top candidates, you’ll fit right in.

Working closely with our recruitment consultants, you’ll support sourcing efforts, build strong candidate pipelines, and help match talent to some of the biggest brands and agencies in the influencer world.

Previous recruitment experience is helpful, but it’s your energy, curiosity, and passion for social media that will really set you apart.
